Lu'an Gua Pian, is a famous green tea from Lu'an County in Anhui Province, China. The literal translation for Lu’an Gua Pian Tea is Lu’An Melon Seed Tea. The name is derived from the shape of the processed tea leaves, which are flat and oval and resemble a melon seed. Difference with most green teas which manufactured by the whole leaf tea, the appearance of tea is dark green, after infusion, the tea will show chest- nut aroma with mellow taste.
